FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Passport Cover:
Vinyl or cork. If you are worried about thickness (it will only be 2 layers), you can use a thinner vinyl such as upholstery faux leather/vinyl. For the lining, we have used HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl). All passport pieces can be cut from a 8” W x 12” H piece of vinyl and HTV.
Luggage Tag:
Vinyl or cork. You will need a piece 6” W x 4 ½” H (152.4mm x 114.3mm). If you wish to line it, you will need a piece of HTV the same size. A clear piece of TPU that measures 2 ½” W x 3” H (63.5mm x 76.2mm) is also required for the Luggage Tag window. Additionally, you will need a piece of white card measuring 2 ⅜” W x 2 ¾” H (63.5mm x 69.85mm). If you print your pattern pieces on card, there is a handy Info Card pre-made for you.
HARDWARE
You will need x2 5mm eyelets for the Luggage Tag and a piece of string or round elastic approximately 8-10” (203-254mm) long. It isn’t essential to use eyelets, but it will reinforce the punched holes and it looks a bit fancier.
